These are common ASO practice, not Apple's algorithm. Nobody outside Apple knows how the keyword field is weighted. The rules below are what practitioners have converged on; treat them as sensible defaults, not as documented behaviour.

Why bytes and not characters

Apple's limits behave as byte limits. An ASCII letter is one byte, but a Japanese or Arabic character is three, and an emoji can be four or more. A subtitle that passes a character count can still be rejected or truncated, which is why every counter here shows bytes first.

Should I put spaces after the commas?

No. Each space costs a byte and buys nothing — separate keywords with a bare comma.

Do I need singular and plural?

Common practice says no: include the singular and let the store handle the rest. This is a convention, not a documented rule.

Why remove words from my title?

Your app name and subtitle are already indexed. Repeating those words in the keyword field spends part of your 100 bytes on something you have covered.

Is anything sent to your servers?

No. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you paste is transmitted or stored.
