GO AI Chat — Accessibility
GO AI Chat
Our commitment
GO AI Chat includes accessibility support for people who use VoiceOver, Voice Control, Reduce Motion, and other assistive technologies. This page lists the labeled controls and system-setting behavior supported today, along with known limitations.
What works today
- Labeled controls. Onboarding, sign-in, Home, chat, chat history, Settings, and the subscription flow have VoiceOver labels. Subscription plan buttons announce their duration, price, and selected state. Response actions — Copy, Good response, Bad response, and Read aloud — are named buttons. Decorative animations are hidden from VoiceOver.
- Voice Control. The labeled controls are available to Voice Control where the system can recognize them. Studio editing tools remain a known limitation below.
- Reduced Motion. GO AI Chat follows the system Reduce Motion setting for supported animations.
- Dark interface. The app uses a dark interface throughout.
- Not color alone. Selection and state are paired with a second cue beyond color — checkmarks, radio marks, visible titles, or shape changes — so they don't depend on color perception.
- Built-in assists. Any AI response can be spoken with the Read aloud action, and the chat input supports dictation.
Using accessibility features with GO AI Chat
There are no separate accessibility switches inside the app. Turn features on under Settings → Accessibility on iPhone and iPad, or System Settings → Accessibility on Mac. GO AI Chat uses your VoiceOver, Voice Control, and Reduce Motion settings when the relevant screen appears. The app always uses its dark interface.
Known limitations we're working on
We'd rather tell you about the gaps than have you discover them. As of the review date above:
- Studio editing tools. The color-adjustment controls in Studio and the image mask editor currently rely on touch gestures (a pan-based value ruler and freeform drawing) and are not yet fully operable with VoiceOver or Voice Control. Adjustable, voice-friendly replacements are in development.
- Larger Text. Dynamic Type is supported in chat message text but does not yet scale every screen of the app.
- Label translations. Some VoiceOver labels may be announced in English in non-English locales until their translations ship.
- Captions. Generated videos and Voice Mode conversations do not currently provide captions.
