These Terms of Service govern your use of GO AI Plant ("the App"), published by GO AI Chat LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to GO AI Plant specifically and are separate from the GO AI Terms of Service covering our other apps.
2. Who May Use the App
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and any purchase must be made by an adult who accepts these Terms. You must be able to form a binding contract.
3. What the App Does
GO AI Plant identifies plants from a photo, analyzes visible disease, pests, and environmental stress, and returns care guidance, treatment steps, and reminders. Identification and diagnosis run on third-party AI models (section 8) reached through our servers. Results are produced automatically; nobody reviews them before you receive them.
4. Identification and Diagnosis Are Estimates, Not Expert Advice
This section is important. Please read it.
Identifications can be wrong. Visual plant identification is probabilistic. Similar-looking species are routinely confused, and a confident-looking result can still be incorrect.
Never eat, brew, apply, or medicate based on the App. Do not use the App to decide whether a plant, mushroom, berry, leaf, or seed is edible, safe to touch, or medicinally useful. Many toxic species closely resemble harmless ones, and the consequences of a mistake can be severe or fatal. The App is not a foraging tool and must not be used as one.
Not veterinary or medical advice. Do not rely on the App to judge whether a plant is safe for children, pets, or livestock. Contact a doctor, a poison control center, or a veterinarian immediately if ingestion or exposure is suspected.
Diagnosis is not a substitute for an expert. Treatment, severity, and prevention guidance is general information, not professional horticultural or agricultural advice. For a valuable, rare, or commercially important plant, consult a qualified professional.
Treatment carries its own risks. You are responsible for reading and following the label and safety instructions for any fertilizer, pesticide, fungicide, or other product you choose to use, and for complying with the law where you live.
You use identifications, diagnoses, care guidance, and the water calculator at your own risk.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Free download. The App is free to download. Some features require an in-app subscription.
Billing. All purchases are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account. We never receive or store your payment card details.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of that period.
Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Trials. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.
Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases directly.
Price changes. We may change prices and what a subscription includes. Changes take effect at the start of a new billing period.
6. License and Restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal use, subject to these Terms. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App; attempt unauthorized access to our servers or API; resell or redistribute access to the App; use automated means to submit images at scale or bypass rate limits; or use the App or its output to train a competing plant-identification model or to build a competing dataset.
7. Your Content
Your photos stay yours. You retain ownership of the photos, notes, and questions you provide ("User Content").
The license you give us. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transmit, and process your User Content solely to operate the App and produce your result — including sending it to the AI providers in section 8. This license exists to run the service, and ends when the processing does. We do not use your photos to advertise, and we do not sell them.
You are responsible for what you submit. You confirm you have the right to submit each photo, and that submitting it does not infringe anyone's rights or privacy. Photograph plants, not people.
Results are not exclusive. The same photo may produce the same result for other users, and results may change as models are updated.
8. Third-Party Services
The App produces results using the following providers. Your use of the App and its output is also subject to their terms:

We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these providers, or for changes they make to their models or terms. Model availability may change.
9. Acceptable Use
Do not use the App to:
Identify plants for the purpose of foraging, consumption, or self-medication (section 4).
Cultivate, locate, or process any plant whose cultivation or possession is unlawful where you are.
Submit photos that infringe copyright or privacy rights, or that contain other people without their consent.
Submit unlawful, harassing, hateful, or sexual content.
Probe or attack our infrastructure, bypass rate limits, or use the App in violation of applicable law or of Apple's App Store terms.
10. Our Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the App itself — its interface, code, artwork, name, and logo — belongs to GO AI Chat LLC or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you. "GO AI Plant" and "GO AI" are our trademarks; do not use them without permission.
11. Availability and Changes
We may add, change, or remove features and models, and we may limit or suspend the service for maintenance or for capacity reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Reminders are scheduled locally by iOS and continue to fire on your device even when the service is unavailable, but we do not guarantee their delivery — do not rely on them as the only safeguard for a plant that matters to you.
12. Disclaimers
THE APP AND ALL GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY IDENTIFICATION, DIAGNOSIS, SEVERITY RATING, TREATMENT STEP, OR CARE RECOMMENDATION IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PLANT OR YOUR CONDITIONS. You are solely responsible for what you do with the App's output, and for any harm to a plant, person, or animal resulting from it.
13. Limitation of Liability
WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOST PLANTS. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GO AI Chat LLC and its affiliates from claims, damages, and costs arising out of your User Content, your use of the App's output, your misuse of the App, or your violation of these Terms.
15. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification — will do so.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in the App or on this page and the effective date above will be revised. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
