# Musy AI

Musy AI is an AI music generator for iPhone and iPad from GO AI Chat LLC. Describe a song in one sentence and the app composes and records it — instrumental or sung — then creates cover art for the finished track. Most songs are ready in about a minute.

## Creating a song

A song starts with a plain-language description of up to 150 characters, such as "a lo-fi beat for a rainy night in Tokyo." Musy AI writes and records the music from that description and places the finished track in the Library. Generation runs in the background, so the app stays usable while a song renders.

Each song can be:

- Instrumental, or performed with lyrics and a voice
- 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds, or 2 minutes long

## Shaping the sound

Every musical control is optional — left on Auto, the description alone decides the result. When set explicitly, they are:

- **Genre** — 29 genres in a searchable picker, each with its own artwork: Pop, Hip-Hop, Trap, R&B, Soul, Rock, Metal, Electronic, EDM, House, Synthwave, Phonk, Drum & Bass, Lo-fi, Chiptune, Ambient, Country, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Classical, Funk, Disco, Reggae, Reggaeton, Afrobeat, K-pop, and Dream Pop
- **Mood** — chosen separately from genre
- **BPM** — the track's tempo
- **Duration** — 30s, 60s, 90s, or 2 minutes

## Lyrics and vocals

Switching a song to "With Lyrics" opens a lyrics field that accepts up to 500 characters of hand-written words, or generates lyrics from the same description on request.

Vocals can be set to Auto, Male, Female, or Child. A voice can also be recorded once inside the app and reused, so the app sings in the user's own voice.

## Cover art

The Artwork tab designs a cover for each song from that song's own genre and mood, with no prompt required. An optional prompt can steer the result, a reference photo can be supplied, and a picture from the photo library can be used instead. Covers can be regenerated at any time.

## Song templates

The Lab holds ready-made starting points organized by occasion — love songs, birthday songs, and songs about pets. Each occasion offers ten styles, and every template card carries its own genre and mood, so choosing a card sets the musical direction. Each occasion has a short form that asks only what its song needs to know. The Lab also includes a jam pad for tapping out your own melody.

## Library and playback

Finished songs are collected in the Library with their cover art and can be searched. A mini player stays available on every tab, and a full player opens for the complete track. Playback continues while the app is in the background. Any song can be regenerated, or shared as a finished file.
